Project: Annual Auction (Save the Date)
Client: Low Income Housing Institute
Role: Art Direction / Design
In 2006 I was invited to design the print pieces for the Low Income Housing Institute’s annual auction and banquet.
The image for this save-the-date postcard is a letterpress print that I created using wood type (inked face up, as well as face down), and stencils cut and inked by hand. Once dry, I scanned the print and digitally set and colorized the type in Photoshop. The final materials were offset printed.
