HOPE is a limited edition letterpress print produced as part of Hope is Action, a collaborative project by American designers initiated to inspire action, new ways of thinking, and new ways of being.
This handset metal type composition uses layering to redefine characters — mostly from the typeface Huxley Vertical — as new letterforms, creating a dynamic abstraction of the word HOPE.

Designed, typeset & letterpress printed by Amy Redmond in 4 passes on a Colt’s Armory platen press.
