<\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\nBook Title<\/strong>: Word (of Mouth)\u00a0<\/em>Literary Anthology<\/p>\n Client\/Publisher<\/strong>: Northwest Bookfest (2002)<\/p>\n Role<\/strong>: Design, typesetting, copywriting<\/p>\n Author<\/strong>: Various young adults<\/p>\n Size<\/strong>: 4.625 x 6 inches, saddle-stitched<\/p>\n This annual anthology features the written work of young adults in the Pacific Northwest, some of which was read live on the Word (of mouth) stage at Northwest Bookfest.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Using the packaging from a mid-century pair of hip-waders as my muse design , I crafted the cover & promotional copy with a tongue-&-cheek voice spouting the positive effects of literature on one’s well-being.<\/p>\n Experienced with working in agency and studio settings,\u00a0Amy Redmond<\/a>\u00a0is an art director and visual designer who thrives on variety, creating print and interactive work for corporate and non-profit clients. To keep her creativity refreshed, Amy balances digital design with time in her letterpress studio (Amada Press)<\/a>\u00a0in Seattle.
