Client<\/strong>: Northwest Bookfest (2002)<\/p>\n Project<\/strong>: 8th Annual Book Arts Exhibition<\/p>\n Role<\/strong>: Art Director + Designer<\/p>\n Northwest Bookfest’s Book Arts Exhibition is an annual juried show that features the work of artists from the west coast region. The promotional materials for the event’s 8th year were based on the theme “nostalgia,” and were inspired by a WPA poster by Albert M. Bender.<\/p>\n Featured above is a digital proof of the largest piece of the series, a limited edition silkscreened poster promoting the exhibit. The finished poster measures\u00a017.5 x 23 inches.<\/p>\n Other pieces in the series include postcards, flyers, and the exhibition catalog, shown below. This is a more accurate representation of the paper color than the poster image shown above, as it is an actual scan of the printed catalog (not a digital proof).<\/p>\n Experienced with working in agency and studio settings,\u00a0Amy Redmond<\/a>\u00a0is an art director and visual designer who thrives on variety, creating print and interactive work for corporate and non-profit clients. To keep her creativity refreshed, Amy balances digital design with time in her letterpress studio (Amada Press)<\/a>\u00a0in Seattle.
