ABOUT THE PROJECT
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

Having shed their pre-pandemic skin as a formal, sit-down restaurant, Seattle’s Little Water Cantina was ready for a look that captures their new spirit as a casual, come-as-you-are beach cantina. You can now enjoy LWC’s modern, Mexican cuisine as a quick bite to go \u2014 or linger with a drink on their popular deck, and catch a sunset view of Lake Union and the Olympic Mountains.<\/p>\n

The logo’s typeface, Congenial, was designed by Washington state native Laura Worthington. A little saltiness dusts the sunset colors, reminiscent of long summer days spent on the beach.<\/p>\n

Experienced with working in agency and studio settings,\u00a0Amy Redmond<\/a>\u00a0is an art director and visual designer who thrives on variety, creating print and interactive work for corporate and non-profit clients. To keep her creativity refreshed, Amy balances digital design with time in her letterpress studio (Amada Press<\/a>) in Seattle. She teaches typography at the\u00a0School of Visual Concepts<\/a> and letterpress printing at Partners in Print<\/a>, where she also serves as a founding member of PiP’s Leadership Team.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
