My dear friend and letterpress printing mentor Chris Stern passed away suddenly in November 2006; Haley Edwards at the Seattle Times did a nice little article on him & his amazing work. We miss you, Chris.

In January 2003 I purchased a 10x15 C&P press; that February we moved all 1500 pounds of it. I no longer own the press, but these photos will help show you how to go about (or not go about) the task.
An exhibit of letterpress prints from the instructors & students at Seattle's School of Visual Concepts is on display near gate A1 at Sea-Tac International Airport for all of 2007.
This online museum of bathtub art kindly invited me to be featured as one of their artists. Oddly enough, the illustration that I submitted for the site later became blurred when it was accidentally splashed with water (perhaps from a bath?).
